SWCAA issues air pollution advisory for wildfire smoke
Tuesday, August 14, 2018 - Increasing fine particulate matter (PM2.5) levels in Southwest Washington due to intrusions of wildfire smoke throughout Clark, Cowlitz, Lewis, Skamania and Wahkiakum Counties today through Thursday have triggered Southwest Clean Air Agency to issue an air pollution advisory. Pollution levels are expected to worsen overnight and in the early morning with variable clearing throughout the daytime hours. Conditions are expected to improve by Wednesday afternoon but higher elevation smoke will linger throughout the rest of the week.
