Introducing SWCAA's Nissan Leaf & Public Charging Station

Wednesday, August 31, 2011 - Welcome the SWCAA 2011 Nissan Leaf

The SWCAA Nissan Leaf Features:

• Zero Emissions
• Solar panel that provides supplemental charging
• Range of 100 miles
• Approximately 107 horsepower equivalency
• No transmission so all available torque is transferred directly to the wheels
• Uses a modular designed Lithium-ion battery
• Can accommodate 5 passengers
• Navigation System to locate public charging stations

The charging station located at SWCAA's office is available to the public free of charge. Anyone who is interested in the Nissan Leaf is encouraged to contact Robert Elliott at bob@swcleanair.org to schedule an inspection and short ride, if possible.
